Tech

The teen "Tech Usage Over Time" Excel file (below) is a summary of basic usage of technology and the internet reported by teens from the years 2000 through 2009. Groups and sub-groups surveyed are discerned by question as well as population samples. It is important to note that unlike the adult usage surveys, the teen surveys are performed infrequently; as such, there is not a report for every year.
Additionally, individual surveys may have a different focus from year to year, and as a result not all usage questions are asked each time. Finally, wording of individual questions may differ by year; to see the exact wording, please click on the hyper-link embedded in the year column header for a copy of that’s years particular topline.  Other relevant information is also available as "comments" within the spreadsheet, and can be read by hovering over the marked cells.
